Jeanette, checking out the view of her new workspace...

Though neglected over the years, Freswick Castle has a wonderful freshness of possibility & stunning views. The weather is constantly changing.

Stone Collection.......

The residency was split into two parts. First working with children in schools and finally produce work for an exhibition. Her collection is called 'Unlocking Caithness'

"The work takes you on a journey peeling back time and 'Unlocking Caithness'. It shows things we leave behind, such as tattered fabrics, or rusty pipes which are reminders of past inhabitance. The whole journey shows how wind, salt, sea and the elements have determined the landscape".
Exhibits reflect the remote area of Caithness seen through the eyes of Jeanette.
