Queens of the Afterlife:
Shetland hat collection
Hatwalk 2005 1st June 2005 Greyfriars Kirk

Outside view of Greyfriars Kirk, Edinburgh
Shetland colours and Jeanette’s sense of the macabre come together in this collection of crowns, suggesting a connection with the after-life.

A different angle....

Skulls and bones feature prominently, with dark browns, bright whites and subtle sparks of colour reflecting the peaty landscape and the changing seasons.

Jeannette was in Shetland for Hatwalk 2005 & unable to be there to document the event here. Reports though from those who were confirm it to be a Sell Out & as vibrant & theatrical as Hatwalk 2004. More from the official site - hatwalk.co.uk
