Just two steps off the High Street and you are in a small dungeon, with old stone walls softened by fabrics and charm. The original 17th century stone fireplace is warmed by a log burner. Tables are provided from where you can let your eye drift over the scene of Jeanette’s theatrical hats and textiles.
